The Jersey Bodyboarders were formed in 2004 by members of the local bodyboard crew to develop and support bodyboarding in the island. The club has been affiliated to the Channel Island Surfing Federation.
Over the years the club has seen many successes including members winning 6 British National titles, which is quite a feat for such a small club in a small island like Jersey.
In more recent years, the club has been on a hiatus following a reduction in active members. In the UK and some other locations, there has been a trend of clubs growing in popularity by focussing on friendly social meets rather than competition. If there is anyone with an appetite for this, or any local bodyboarders out there, no matter what level you are at, who would like to meet up with other like-minded bodyboarders, feel free to reach out using the contact page.
