Home for the week

Some time ago, I stumbled across an amazing aeirial photo of a small bay harbouring a small village enclosed by high mountains. What really caught my eye was that the bay had waves; I really wanted to surf this beach. Google Earth made it simple to hunt down, and after studying a few shots and videos from visiting surfers, I weighed up whether to give it a go, despite looking like it might be an all or nothing hit or miss trip, or whether to return somewhere I had visited before where I knew I would be almost guaranteed to score. In the end, the lure of the stunning scenery, combined with the opportunity of escaping somewhere so remote, proved too tempting.
